CVC attendees can participate in an American Red Cross blood drive sponsored by Advanstar Communications. Don’t Miss a Single Lecture With such a wide variety of great lectures, it’s difficult to attend every session. Thanks to CVC audio CDs, you can listen-in on the lectures you couldn’t attend or hear your favorite sessions again. You’re invited to order lecture CDs at the convention center — watch for the signs. North Carolina and Texas Veterinarians Make sure you get your CE! Veterinarians licensed in North Carolina and/or Texas must track each seminar hour attended with a CE checklist. When you arrive, pick up the checklist at the tour/information desk and sign in on the sheet provided. Before you leave CVC, return your completed checklist to the registration desk and sign out on the sheet provided. A CVC staff member will verify your hours and give you a signed CE Certificate of Attendance. Don’t leave without your certificate — we can’t mail it to you! Child Care CVC is at your service to make the convention a family affair. KiddieCorp, a licensed child-care provider, offers on-site care for children six months to 12 years old during CVC, Friday through Monday. KiddieCorp is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Association of Child Care Consultants International. They’ll even provide written hourly infant reports for parents on request. Check out the child-care details. Price Pre-registered: $50 per day On-site registration: $60 per day (subject to availability) Times Drop off: 30 min. before the day’s first seminar begins Pick up: 30 min. after the day’s last seminar ends Meals for children ages 1 and older Friday-Monday: lunches, snacks, and beverages Activities Children will participate in fun, creative, age-appropriate activities, including souvenir arts and crafts, group games, and more. It’s best to pre-register your child because the child-care service is limited — first come, first served. Reserve your space by filling out the child-care portion of the registration form. Note: Cancellations must be made in writing and received by March 10, 2010. No cancellations will be accepted after that date. Volunteers Wanted! We are recruiting professional and reliable volunteers to serve as room moderators and technician Wet Lab and Workshop helpers during CVC. Those who qualify may receive registration discounts!
